DPDP Compliance

At Kickstart Education Hub, we are committed to respecting your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP), India’s comprehensive data protection law. This page explains how we comply with the DPDP and how you can exercise your rights as a data principal.

Scope and Applicability

The DPDP applies to the processing of digital personal data within India. While Kickstart Education Hub does not require users to register or create accounts, we may collect limited personal data through automated means such as website analytics, cookies, and server logs. This data is processed solely for the purpose of improving user experience, analyzing site traffic, and ensuring platform functionality.

Your Rights Under DPDP

Under the DPDP, you have the following rights as a data principal:

  • Right to access your digital personal data we hold about you
  • Right to correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure of your data
  • Right to grievance redressal if you believe your rights have been violated
  • Right to nominate a person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity

Note: These rights apply only to data that can be linked to you as an identifiable individual.

How We Comply

We do not maintain a database of personal information. Any data collected is anonymized and aggregated for analytical purposes. We do not sell, share, or transfer personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. We use secure, compliant analytics tools that respect user privacy and offer opt-out mechanisms where available.

Data We Process

The only personal data we may process includes:

  • IP addresses (anonymized)
  • Browser type and device information
  • Pages visited and time spent on site
  • Cookie identifiers (for session and preference management)

This data is not stored permanently and is retained only as long as necessary for analytics and security.

Legal Basis for Processing

Our processing of personal data is based on legitimate interest under the DPDP, specifically to ensure the proper functioning of our website, improve user experience, and maintain security. We do not rely on consent for this limited processing, as it is necessary for our legitimate interests and does not unduly impact your rights.
